Epic Farm Boy gets a sequel... sort of...

I had a ton of fun writing Epic Farm Boy -- too much fun probably-- and now you have seen a glimpse of my scatter-brained idea of humor. But, whether you loved it or hated it, Epic Farm Boy is getting a sequel... sort of.

So, it takes place in the same world, but actually doesn't involve Simplin or Lucas. Why?

Because it's a book all about Arethel! The cover is so fun too, with the whole super cheesy smile and heroic pose with the sunlight lighting up her hair as she does one of those "fashion model" head turns. Love it!

The gist of the story is this, Jack -- the same author in Epic Farm Boy -- finds a mysterious manuscript on his computer. He opens it up and finds that Arethel had written down an autobiographical account of her latest adventures as one of the "hottest" Rangers in Lickedintime. It takes place before she met anyone from Simplin's crew, and it a fun, if not slightly over-the-top, story about this lovably dim-witted elf as she chases the man she loves through all sorts of danger. Unfortunately, she is just a bit too dense to realize that her true love just likes her as... a friend... from afar... like, from reeeeeally far away...
