The Crystal Spire -- the next chapter in Erik Lokton's adventures...

Today The Crystal Spire went up for pre-order. It has been almost a year since the last Erik Lokton book came out, so I hope it meets reader expectations. There are going to be a few fun twists in this one that I think will be exciting for long time fans that have read more than just this one series too.

It's been a crazy year with moving up release schedules and slotting in all of these releases, but it has been very rewarding to hear some good feedback on the stories that people have been waiting for. With Crystal Spire, I wanted to do something a bit special for the fans, and have the pre-order set to a low $0.99. After the book's launch date, it will go back up to full price at $2.99, so if you're thinking about grabbing it, I'd suggest snagging it now.

Dominion: Edge of the Storm is going to be released a month early!

I am so excited to announce that book three in the Dragons of Kendualdern saga, Dominion: Edge of the Storm, is going to be released THIS FRIDAY! Originally it was planned to go out on March 31st, but I really didn't want to wait any longer than I had to, so we buckled down and pulled a few long days and switched up the release.

Karlax's story is one that has been so much fun to work with and introduce little twists here and there. I think as you get into the series, you'll see some of the fun things weaving in and out of each story that bind them all together and it should make for a satisfying adventure.

The other really cool result of pushing the release date up is I am pretty sure it is going to have a cascade effect, so Fur Trader 2 should be able to get moved up quite a bit as well! Stay tuned, and I will be sure to put out any updates just as soon as I can.

Epic Farm Boy gets a sequel... sort of...

I had a ton of fun writing Epic Farm Boy -- too much fun probably-- and now you have seen a glimpse of my scatter-brained idea of humor. But, whether you loved it or hated it, Epic Farm Boy is getting a sequel... sort of.

So, it takes place in the same world, but actually doesn't involve Simplin or Lucas. Why?

Because it's a book all about Arethel! The cover is so fun too, with the whole super cheesy smile and heroic pose with the sunlight lighting up her hair as she does one of those "fashion model" head turns. Love it!

The gist of the story is this, Jack -- the same author in Epic Farm Boy -- finds a mysterious manuscript on his computer. He opens it up and finds that Arethel had written down an autobiographical account of her latest adventures as one of the "hottest" Rangers in Lickedintime. It takes place before she met anyone from Simplin's crew, and it a fun, if not slightly over-the-top, story about this lovably dim-witted elf as she chases the man she loves through all sorts of danger. Unfortunately, she is just a bit too dense to realize that her true love just likes her as... a friend... from afar... like, from reeeeeally far away...

Poor Arethel...
