I have been working on this story bit by bit over the last couple of years and bringing it to life and it's finally ready.
Fun fact-- Aikur's War is also mentioned in The Dragon's Champion series, and Aikur himself does a few things that affect the world long enough for Jonathan Haymaker when tromping around Tanglewood Forest as well. So, this isn't just a stand alone novel -- it's like a Russian nesting doll, opening up new layers of Terramyr that haven't been fully discovered yet by other stories. :)
What would drive a man to defy the gods?Called out of retirement to defend his town, goblins soon prove to be the least of Aikur's worries when the fates conspire to pit the warrior against Hatmul, the ruler of hell, to retrieve the souls of his murdered wife and children. Defeat would mean not only the loss of the war, but also condemn Aikur's soul to hell. A wise man would turn and run... but Aikur has never run from a fight in his life. If you love a skull-smashing good time spiced with Norse and Greek mythological influences, then buy Aikur's War now |
