I am very happy to show off the cover image for my next novel, The Tomni'Tai Scroll. The book is set to launch at the end of the week for the e-book, and the beginning of next week for the hard copy. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did while writing it.
Here is a short tidbit about the book itself.
In the Common Era, year 1075 the Elven Crisis was ended. The Sierri'Tai and King Lemork's cleansing war against their dark elf cousins, the Tomni'Tai has been stopped and the Sierri'Tai have been banished through the Netherworld Gate to ensure peace.
Shortly thereafter, the nearby lands were consumed by the Mage Wars, a time in which human nobles directed a crusade against all magic users on the main continent. The Mage Wars were so extensive that virtually all people with "the gift" were slain or exiled from this corner of Terramyr. The fractured kingdoms that remain find themselves locked in continuous hostility with each other to this day as they fight for control of their limited natural resources. Armies clash, threatening to engulf the realm in the terrible flames of war. Only the elves were able to retain the right to use magic, but even among this noble race magic use is limited to a select class within the Svetli'Tai elves who reside on the Elven Isles.
The Tomni’Tai Scroll occurs in the Common Era, year 1575, approximately 500 years after the Elven Crisis. An assassin has unlocked the mysteries of the Tomni'Tai Scroll, and holds the key to reopening the Netherworld Gate and unleashing his revenge on those who have used him, including Basei, the demigod of battle.
One man stands in the assassin’s way. Kai, a disaffected ranger struggling to regain his own soul after his sister is kidnapped. Kai's path is setting him on a collision course with the assassin as he seeks to save his sister and redeem himself by guarding the scroll and those threatened by it.
